It’s official A&F and Hollister to open soon in GCC. The 1st store will open in Dubai.No news on opening date for other GCC countries.

In early 2013, Majid Al Futtaim Fashion announced a joint ventures agreement with the leading American retailer and casual wear clothing brand, Abercrombie & Fitch Co. (A&F), with respect to its Hollister and Abercrombie & Fitch brands. The agreement is to develop Hollister and Abercrombie & Fitch’s presence within the UAE, further supporting the brand’s international growth. As Abercrombie & Fitch Co.’s first physical foray into the Middle East, the landmark joint venture partnership with Majid Al Futtaim Fashion should significantly broaden A&F’s regional potential across the GCC, further adding to the region’s offering of exceptional market leading international brands.

Microsoft CEO (Soon to leave) Steve Ballmer announced the deal and pulled the final act before leaving the CEO position within a year. The deal will cost Microsoft 7.2$ Billion! which is extremely good price comparing to the other deals they made when they bought Skype for 8.5$ Billion! and Google acquisition of Motorola Mobility for 12.5$ Billion.

The service based on connecting people to help each other with a Google Hangout video call. The basic idea is to build up a network of experts on different topics cooking, exercise and mechanical help that are willing to help others who have a need for that specific knowledge, and link them together for either free or paid help.
experts can offer their services for a self-defined fee, of which Google takes a 20 percent cut to cover Google Wallet transaction and hosting fees. Google is however offering a 100 percent money-back guarantee to the person receiving the help if they aren’t satisfied.

Founded by George Eastman in 1880, Eastman Kodak Co. is credited with popularizing photography at the start of the 20th century and was known all over the world for its Brownie and Instamatic cameras and its yellow-and-red film boxes. It was first brought down by Japanese competition and then an inability to keep pace with the shift from film to digital technology.
“Up until around 2005, Kodak was one of the most recognizable brands in the world, and that’s now gone,” said Robert Burley, a photography professor at Ryerson University in Toronto. “It’s only real brand recognition these days is as a failed company that was unable to make the transition from the 20th century to the 21st century. To some degree, they have become a poster child for a company that could not keep up with technology.”

The new feature Android Device Manager (ADM) by Google gives you the ability to track your lost phone and erase stolen devices. The new feature is similar to Apple’s Find My iPhone.
ADM is available to most of Android devices and you should have it installed in your device.
To activate ADM here is how:
- Go to Menu > Google Setting
- Choose Android Device Manager (you’ll find it as last option).
- Check Remotely Locate This Device and Allow Remote Factory Reset.
- You will be promoted with Activate Device Administration window, then press Activate.
To track your device simply login to google.com/android/devicemanager.
You should see your phone.
