Today, i called Aramex to check on my shipment that arrived to Kuwait couple of days ago, so i talk to the guy and he told me that my shipment was held customs for inspection!!. Almost 3 days for inspection ?

I remember that after the new deal between Aramex and Kuwaiti Customs, they told me that its going to take maximum 24 Hours to clear the shipment and deliver it to your step door.

After filing a complain i got a call from Aramex Branch manager explaining why they took them that long, clearly Kuwaiti Customs still haven’t got any idea how the new procedure works and what kind of step to take to finish it ASAP.  (Final word: They are Hate to work) and he told me that there was a meeting today to confirm the new steps and the new procedure that they Kuwaiti customs will use it to clear all shipment that comes throw Airlines not only Aramex.

Finally, i asked him if he can fill me with the new step after confirming it and i will fill you guys later with the new procedures.

Update: Yesterday Aramex Manager called me to fill me with the new agreement regarding the customs procedures to inspect and clear all the shipment. The new procedure will be:

• 2 Days to get the shipment from your US/UK mailbox to Kuwait.
• 2 Days to clear them from Kuwaiti Customs.

So, the total will be 4 days to get the shipment from your US/UK mailbox to your door steps. (Hope Thats True)!
