How to Activate Android Device Manager

The new feature Android Device Manager (ADM) by Google gives you the ability to track your lost phone and erase stolen devices. The new feature is similar to Apple’s Find My iPhone.

ADM is available to most of Android devices and you should have it installed in your device.

To activate ADM here is how:

  • Go to Menu > Google Setting

  • Choose Android Device Manager (you’ll find it as last option).

  • Check Remotely Locate This Device and Allow Remote Factory Reset.

  • You will be promoted with Activate Device Administration window, then press Activate.

To track your device simply login to google.com/android/devicemanager.

You should see your phone.
